Guiding you on your journey to Motherhood

I offer comforting guidance to a woman in labor, meeting her physical and emotional needs.

I respectfully hold and nurture the parents’ experience, creating a positive memory of the birth.

—Eva Lindholm

Welcome to my doula Website! My name is Eva Lindholm, and I’m here to support you through the transformative journey of childbirth.

Being a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula with many years of experience, I have a deep understanding and knowledge of the childbearing year with mamas-to-be, as well as from my own personal experience as a mother and grandmother.

Long before I ever heard the word "doula"  I had been supporting my friends when they were having their babies at home. Years later, I attended my first grandson’s challenging hospital birth. While giving my daughter a massage a couple of weeks after birth she suggested that I should become a doula.

Supporting women in labor has always come naturally to me, and my daughter's suggestion inspired me to seek formal training and certification. Since completing my doula training,  I have had the good fortune of attending home and hospital births, which has deepened my appreciation of the strength and resiliency of women and their bodies and emotions.

It is a joy and an honor to witness these amazing qualities inherent in birthing women and the loving support of their partners. I look forward to hearing from you!

With Warm Wishes for a positive and gentle childbearing year,

Eva Lindholm

“Eva Lindholm is a compassionate, competent, and caring doula.

She was a great help before, during, and after my son's birth. She is skilled at using breathwork and other relaxation techniques to move through the different phases of labor. She was very focused on my comfort and ability to have a good birth experience. I highly recommend her as an excellent doula.”

“We value how Eva shared her expert infant care knowledge with us, from our new baby’s first couple of days, on through the first 3 and 1/2 months.

She pointed out the developmental signs of communication that our baby gave us, as it was happening. Especially during the sleep guidance Eva taught us. We were a team and we’re pleased at how quickly our baby adjusted her sleeping pattern. With gentle and gradual suggestions she slept through the night at 3&1/2 months.

It was fantastic to have Eva help jumpstart our baby’s life. We appreciate all she did and contributed to the journey we are on. We’re seeing a good trend and we’re all getting sleep.”

“My wife and I can’t imagine our son’s birth without Eva there.

She coached us through hours of intense contractions and used massage techniques to ease my wife’s pain throughout. She gave me important time to nap and recover when I needed it most.”

I gave birth to my baby girl, Zofia, at my home last October. Eva Lindholm was my doula and I am extremely grateful for her services. Eva was a fantastic source of support for both my husband and I during my labor and Zofia’s delivery. While I was lucky to have had a speedy and uncomplicated labor, it was still more challenging and uncomfortable than I could have ever been prepared for. Eva held my hand, reminded me how to breathe, and encouraged me from start to finish.

Eva has a very tranquil presence about her that both my husband and I found very comforting. I have recommended Eva as a doula to other pregnant women and think she would be a wonderful addition to any birth team.
